POL Migration & Polygon 2.0

The transition from MATIC to POL was initiated on Ethereum's mainnet as part of the Polygon 2.0 upgrade. Over the four-year migration window, all MATIC tokens can be converted to POL at a 1:1 ratio. POL is designed to validate multiple chains simultaneously, expanding the role of the token beyond a single sidechain to an interconnected network of ZK-rollup chains.
